Commitment
Frankentools aims to make its public website usable by as many people as possible and targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA. The preference panel supplements browser and operating-system features rather than replacing them.
Accessibility features
- A skip link and semantic header, navigation, main-content, article, and footer landmarks.
- Keyboard-operable navigation and controls with visible focus.
- Meaningful heading order, link names, and image alternatives.
- Responsive reflow and a shared content container.
- Light and dark themes that respect user selection.
- Optional larger text, higher contrast, underlined links, and reduced motion stored only in the browser.
- Native
prefers-reduced-motionsupport.
Conformance status
The site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Structure, keyboard operation, focus visibility, responsive reflow, colour tokens, and image failures are checked during the build and browser review. A complete test with multiple screen readers and voice-control products has not yet been completed, so Frankentools does not claim full conformance.
Assessment
Last self-assessment: July 15, 2026. Method: code review plus desktop and responsive browser testing. Technologies relied on: semantic HTML, CSS, and a small JavaScript preference controller.
Feedback and contact
If something is difficult to use, email hello@frankentools.pro with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology used. Frankentools aims to acknowledge accessibility reports within 7 working days.
